A Registered Line Technician (RLT) is an individual who has been registered with the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board and has passed a state background check. Each RLT works under a team of supervisors, which may consist of a number of BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts) and/or BCaBas (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) who use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to implement strategic programs and behavior interventions for our clients. These interventions may target a client’s communication skills, school readiness, potty training, and many other target skills and behaviors.
An RLT’s work hours are 7:45 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Each RLT is given a schedule at the beginning the day, which includes the clients he/she will work with throughout the day and a scheduled 30-minute lunch. Each RLT works one-on-one with his/her assigned team of clients and does individual and group therapy sessions with them. The RLT is supervised and given feedback throughout the day. Our supervisors are always available to answer any questions and aid our RLTs in their therapy sessions with the clients.
Ultimately, BTC’s goal is for our clients to make strides both large and small in their everyday lives and reach their greatest potential. You can help us get them there!
